Turns out gaining weight fast wasn't as easy as those fetish sites made it seem. There was no not secret admirer feeding him delicious treats. No magic spell. Just a bunch of high calorie foods with lackluster taste and a never-ending stomachache.
Tails had already a decent potbelly after just over a week of eating. although due to the constant stuffing he was forcing upon himself he found it to be more firm than soft like he had initially expected. During one of his many moments of regret while facing the agonizing feeling of being overstuffed he was somewhat comforted by the higher ups letting him know that once he finally started gaining weight. It would be much more enjoyable and go much faster....
And while they were informing him of that they brought in more food for the fox to eat.

Patience Tails That little belly might be small, but it's still a belly; it's progress.
Although, I find it funny how you took a small jab at how fat furs work on the internet; how weight gain isn't actually "shove an entire Thanksgiving dinner down your gob and gain 200 lbs right there". I like how you had a little realism in this story and acknowledged it takes time and patience.
