First of all, on F-List, I have a version of Vinyl Scratch, "Vinyl Steel Scratch" who is a joke AU. In this case, Vinyl was once a normal pony who was transformed into a robot by a literal magic pill she took at a rave, at least according to a fanfiction that was supposedly written by somepony using Twilight Sparkle's name. (This was inspired by a few casual observations regarding the card game "Twilight Sparkle's Secret Shipfic Folder.")

You could say if she were a music genre, she would be Heavy Meta.

Here, we have a picture if Octavia taking advantage of the fact that Vinyl is a robot to play an old video game ROM, much to Vinyl's confusion. She is, of course, also having a laugh at how Vinyl is so confused.
