This drawing took a very long time to finally get done (what else is new...) but I'm sure the wait was once again well worth it!

Drawn entirely with Sketchbook Pro
Category Artwork (Digital) / All

With the "steering wheel" you crank up the power ... the engineer's right hand is on the air brake handle.
RJ is such a wonderful artist, I'm truly amazed at the degree of realism in all the components. Interior, background and especially the wonderfully drawn character! I am touched both as a furry and rail fanatic.

Jeez all I can say is thank you very very much for the kind words! Definitely made me smile reading this no question about that~ As for the drawing itself though I always try to "set the bar" with realism and level of detail. You know, always doing better than last I guess is what I'm trying to say. Anyway, if you haven't already be sure to click the link above to my DeviantArt where you can see the 4K version (and download it if you wish).
Anyway once again thank you for the comment and the kind words, I greatly appreciate it!!

Oh c'mon now I'm sure you've seen better~ Still though thank you so much for the kind words!! Really!!! And as for the amount of time it took... Hmm, well I can't really give you a clear answer other than it took nearly over 2 months to get done (yet work and other things kept delaying me. You know, life lol) so I'd dare say 200+? hours from start to finish? If not, it's damn close to that many hours.. Keep in mind I ONLY use Autodesk Sketchbook start to finish - I don't use anything like photoshop or of the like.
Anyway, glad you like it and thank you for the comment!!

Thank you! That landscape took me forever to get done but, like everything else with a lot of patience and persistence it got finished lol. There are a few things in the landscape that you can only really see when you zoom in all the way. So if you want, click that link in the description to my DeviantArt where you can see the 4K version~

I’ll essentially draw whatever you want with a commission, yes! However, since I work for the railroad myself, I can’t ever guarantee nor predict quality sit-down time to work on the drawing. As such, it usually takes me a couple months to draw it all. Sadly, this holds true with even my non commissioned drawings.
But despite all this, when I open for slot I will always try my best~
