HBC stands for Heavy Bombardment Cruiser. During the wars of old, this ship was a devastating and powerful vessel utilized by the Alliance. The Neimordians of Star Wars designed the ship as a gift after their planet, Cato Neimordia, was liberated from the Order of the Darksun during the first Transuniversial War. It along with other Neimordian vessels became the Alliances main starships for a time and heavily influenced and even went into development into the SuperGoliath. It had heavy armaments for a ship of its size, 46 longrange broadside guns were placed along its outer hull ring and 3 frontal longrange cannons inside the control sphere where the bridge resides. The ship lacks hangars howevere along the bridgelike structures crossing the interior of the Hull ring are docking clamps that allow smaller ships to dock and exchange cargo with the cruiser. The ship is propelled by the use of 2 massive Neimordian Engines and 5 smaller ones. It has weak hull armor however a powerful shield for its time powered by 3 massive Generators on the back section of the vessel. Nowadays the vessel is possibly the most common none Kaatasian Pirate vessel however its outgunned by modern military ships. Pirates hold them in fleets and tend to attack from very far away until shields of the enemy are down then they beam boarding crews onboard the target. The ship is 2 km long, small compared to other neimordian vessels and because of this it was massproduced on a much greater scale which would explain why its so popular with pirates due to their numbers. Because of the firepower of the vessel against nonmilitary ships, it has been deemed illegal to operate an HBC-1 without proper licenses and if you do operate one, you will be prone to being searched and you will be called for constant inspections of your cargo if seen by a Military Patrol. A notable Captain of one of these is the Neku Female Captain Kalar Venros, who commands a heavily graffitied HBC called the Sawtooth and is the flagship leader of a gang of many of this ships which makes up a good portion of Pirate vessels. The Gang is large enough to be viewed as a Armada which is multiple fleets under a single Commander and is currently at war with the Kaatasian Auk-Pal Pirate Fleet.
