The kitchen/ dining room stripped down to its original state. The logs are in rough shape but they still hold the place up.

Excellent, this might save you a few pennies on the heating bill then! We replaced the doors and windows at my house, and that mde a big difference. The only place left is the walls, you can almost feel a draft coming off them in the coldest months...

Incidentally, that looks an awful lot like one of the recalled Kidde plastic-valve fire extinguishers. Please check if it's been recalled!

You can get a new replacement for nothing if it's a Kidde :) Check the recall on line. The replacements are much better!

Inquiring architectural minds want to know.. Is that original undamaged framing, or new framing.. I'm just making a mental judgement of how much work has been accomplished..
Smart move upgrading the wiring to newer code requirements. When I wired my house, I went one size larger with the wire gage, which made the building inspector very happy..

All of the frameing you see is contemporaneous, 60’s and 70’s before I got it. So far we haven’t added anything new. We’ve been soda blasting this week.
