The colouring and line work are phenomenal.

I think that's a problem X_X This badge took like 4 days to do because I spent so much time on it, it was ridiculous. It's got like 4 mediums in it(ink, marker, watercolor, acrylic) plus the scrap cuttout parts. I know I made it look really good, but if I do every badge like this I'm gonna have to start charging like 40 bucks for them, and they just aren't worth that I don't think. I mean, people aren't going to want to pay 40 for space pirate badges. I want to do professional-grade coloring with professional-grade techniques, but oof. I cant work at this pace.

I'm sure you'd get some people who would pay $40 dollars for a bagde like this. But if you're looking for ways to cut down your time, perhaps you could make the outline of the character thicker? That would leave less 'V' shapes to cut out and you probably wouldn't notice a thicker line on a dark space background. I'm not sure if you're using one already but an xacto knife might be easier than sissors too.

Maybe so. I was thinking I could just leave a white space all the way around, like I did on her arm thing, and just color in the white part. Leave less of the ink detail to cut out, but the detail is still there. But I've been wanting to make thicker outlines lately so I dunno. And I switch back and forth whichever would be easiest. Sometimes the knife tears the paper x_x

That sounds like a good idea. Maybe try some different things out and see which works best for you.

Speaking of.. Mom rented and watched all of the Alien series. She bitched about the cat for the entire duration of the first movie. I forget what it was, but in one they had to go back for something and she was like "OH DAMN ITS THE FUCKING CAT ALL OVER AGAIN >:U "
The fourth managed to rope both me and david into it whenever we went upstairs and walked past the TV. We both would spend like... ten minutes longer upstairs then planned...
