Heh! More like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntq9rzTPyVU Only the Technicolour goop is in the sky.
Hey! A Harmon - Ising Classic! I just had to watch it again, and I noticed the great little touches that spoke of the industrial practices of the time. Some of the Dwarves... (I think.) can be seen stoking a furnace, and of course the color stamping mill is technically spot on.
You seem to have the same attitude I have. Earlier in life there was a time I didn't care if I lived or died... Now the only way is the Goddess is getting me out of here kicking and fighting like hell. The only exception will be if she comes to me and tells me my time here is done.
Twelve knots you say... WOW at times I'm lucky to make three!

Here it is... a quick coloring. I didn't go overboard with the shading as I thought that would detract from it. https://www.furaffinity.net/view/25648980/
I just really, really, really wish I hadn't lost my artistic drive. I got to a point where I felt I couldn't do it any more and hurt a lot of people in flat out quitting. The healing process has been slow, and the path back to where I was is closed. I have to continue on somehow and try to rebuild myself again.
I Wanted to reply to this comment much sooner, but circumstances prevented me from doing so. First of all, I appreciate you're using the quote from Peter Gabriel's song titled "Don't give up" as it reflects well on my current situation. For the last twelve years I have been moving from town to town, city to city, but never leaving the State of California, and finding the situation just about the same no matter where I go. The greatest problem in this area around Los Angeles is that the rules of the "Job Game" have changed drastically in the past twenty years, and unfortunately the employers seem only interested in hiring those they can make the most money with. Life has gotten "Cheap" here in Southern California, and almost every employer believes that for every worker who fails, they can get at least a dozen more to fill the gap. (Recently a hamburger joint opened up in old town Pasadena, and they advertised for a cook's helper position. They got at least several hundred applications for the one job.) I figure the only thing that's gonna save my sorry tail now is to Create my own job, or come up with some new fad that everybody wants.
So I'll keep looking, and I won't give up.

I once fancied the idea of a story about Pilot arriving in the next world to find his P-51 Mustang waiting for him. After donning the jacket, gloves and helmet that were placed on the seat, he took off and flew the aircraft flawlessly, taking it through maneuvers and literally "Dancing in the sky" with the plane. After landing, he patted the aircraft and turned to his spirit guide and thanked him. It seemed that even though he was granted the powers of flight and instant transportation in the next world, he just wanted to enjoy one last flight in a more "Conventional" way.
So why not? I'm still stuck on the Honda Gold Wing, but I'd sure like to try one of those Zundapp or BMWs with opposed 4 cylinder engines to se how well they perform.

That's beautiful! I imagine many who appreciate the synergy between man and machine would feel similarly.
I like flat-fours, though I only have experience with VW ones currently, I imagine they could be pretty peppy in motorcycle form!
Edit- Oop, almost forgot, you'd probably enjoy reading this blog of a veteran biker fellow (who is also restoring a Victorian house) http://lifeisaroad.com/blog/ Nice fellow, has a lot of fascinating stories of life on the road! Also a comic illustrated by RHJunior: http://theoldvictorianwebcomic.com/

Yeah! They're a fun couple! RHJunior's home site has a bunch of other fun comics too, if you like the art-style! I could recommend enough comics to keep you reading all day, but i'll keep it to two here on FA for now: The Out Of Placers by Valsalia https://www.furaffinity.net/user/valsalia/ and the comic inspired by OOPs, Chasing Bolide by Shard of Confusion https://www.furaffinity.net/user/shardofconfusion/ I don't know if you'd heard of Yinglets yet, but they feature in both comics! Enjoy!
YeeEEeeee..! Yes. I've been following Valsalia and the "Out of Placers" comics for about two years now. There's several characters that I look forward to reading of their continued adventures. These include a Human Warrior transformed into a dragon maid, another human transformed into a feline creature, and most of all, I'm intrigued by the Yinglets.
Haaanh. It beats being "Vice president in charge of Nothing". Strange. I just had a conversation with my brother recently where I said I wouldn't want to live for "Eternity" unless I could do something important like catalog the people in the Milky way or build a mountain range. I couldn't just sit on a cloud through the eons and play the harp.
