a tail like that on average would only cost $35 (including shipping). There are exceptions based on the cost of the fur, but it's usually not by much heh.

where do you buy the fur and is it professional quality? like the things Ty would use? or any other factory?

whatever the buyer wants, if they can afford to cover the cost. Most of the fur i get is from joanne's and for the most part it's been decent quality, but, if need be, i can use some of the places I've tracked down online that use/make the more realistic fake furs. Those usually are a bit more pricey tho.

Montery Mills is one, CRcrafts, and one other place that sells it by the unit as throws (price varies) and I have a list of other places going as we speak...

just wonderig. somone is requesting/comissioning me for a plush dog its going to be a little over 12 inches long and out of that curly silky fabric (got a bargin piece) and $20 is to much.

ahhhh ok *nods* Calculate the cost of materials, and how much time you're going to spend making it. Also, look at theprices of your competitors, and you can price right at or below that, however, don't sell yourself short and try not to under-charge.

For a small plush like that, i'd most likely go for a min. of 15$, but you also need to think of shipping charges. I've blown so much cash of my own on shipping and made no profit so many times that i've had to include shipping in my charge. don't make the same mistake hehe *wags*
