Ray's powers are unusual. When he awoke after being knocked out for 27 years he felt nothing unusual other then the large horns on his head. He hardly remembered what his life was like before. Yet as he saw how the world around him had become toxic and turned to chaos, he became ill thought of the Utopia he helped to build had to fallen in the time that past. Then what started as loathing and disgust, turned into an actual feeling of pain, exhaustion and intense heat.

Ray's powers come from a piece of a ultimate power core from his heart. It was separated into one of 4 pieces. With these powers he can generate flames by spitting like a dragon and from gathering sweat in his hands. The radiation also helps him to fly, but no real science is behind that feature, it might have something to do with magnetism. The "hood" is a collection of trash that he picked up along his path through the toxic waters, and it melted into his body and provides a strong shield. There is a tail at the end of the hood that he can use as a stabbing whip but it's not powerful enough to break through bone, but can break bone with enough repeated force.
