Something else about him had changed other then his appearance. He felt such a heat and fever that made it impossible for him to think and move. His flesh started to ooze a burning smelling sweat and people around him couldn't stand next to him without feeling ill themselves. A weight in his heart was pulsing and throbbing like it wanted to explode out of his chest. Wallop did his best to calm his friend but it didn't take long before the intense heat had to be released.

Ray's powers come from a piece of a ultimate power core from his heart. It was separated into one of 4 pieces. With these powers he can generate flames by spitting like a dragon and from gathering sweat in his hands. The radiation also helps him to fly, but no real science is behind that feature, it might have something to do with magnetism. The "hood" is a collection of trash that he picked up along his path through the toxic waters, and it melted into his body and provides a strong shield. There is a tail at the end of the hood that he can use as a stabbing whip but it's not powerful enough to break through bone, but can break bone with enough repeated force.
