Everyone, please give a warm welcome to the newest character in my roster, Orin Baker.

So, to elaborate, my friend  lustrian is running a tabletop game set in the Skin Deep webcomic universe. The webcomic, for those interested, can be found here: http://www.skindeepcomic.com/

As a quick primer for those that haven't read it: Skin Deep is set in a world where mythical animals (and a few others) exist, and are thriving. They have hidden from humans for a long time, using medallions that allow them to pass as human or as a midform between human and their natural form.

Orin Baker here is a White Stag. You know, the kinds you see in legends and fantasy stories, always being hunted about on grand adventures. Orin is a mailman, working for the Royal Mail in Liverpool, England, making sure to intercept and direct all mail intended for residents of the Liverpool Avalon to its proper destination. At least, he was, until WW2 started, and he withdrew into the Avalon, so as to not risk revealing himself during the war.

I googled for ages for pictures of the Royal Mail uniform from the 1940s, and this was one of only two results, which were vastly different from each other. This one seemed a lot cooler and more formal, so I went with it. How accurate it is, I truly do not know.

The White Stag's in Kory Bing's webcomic have always been some of my favourite characters, so when I was choosing a species for the game, I knew I had to go with the white stag.
