Having emotions suck. Why is it you can't keep all your friends happy like you? When they yell at you for not understanding them, is it really your fault you upset them? Seeing people suffer even after you try to help them, just comes off like a failure even though you know it wasn't your responsibility to keep them happy. Even more still inner feelings of regret and uncertainty just wear you out. These were not thoughts he had when he was a smaller spider. Something about evolving doesn't make it a benefit, it just brings more complex feelings and you feel ultimately like you're not being the best version of you you can be.
