" Where did these Gryphorines come from?? Eitherway, it looks like they are looking to get a new home!"
<i>Quick Bio: Gryphorines are a type of species closely related to the Griffon. They are a lot smaller compared to their well-known cousins being that their DNA make-up is a mix of small birds and hamsters. Gryphorine's back legs are bird-like, making it easier for them to perch up onto branches and such <s>and to nab things mid-flight</s> whilst their front feet also act like hands for easy foraging. Because of this, Gryphorine's became known for their "sparrow hop"
They have large cheek pouches, making it perfect for foraging and stashing food away... They have terribly hoarding habits when it comes to food, or items, there is "Never enough"to them..
They forage both on the ground and up in trees with the additional ability to fly, though usually having too much stuffed in their cheeks to take off, which is a common problem with these creatures. They have a vocal range of squeaks and chirps, and some have been heard capable of singing!
Whilst some prefer to bath and get clean in sand baths, there are others who prefer water baths, or even both! They spend a lot of time grooming, preening and keeping clean, they can be grumpy if they can't bathe. They sleep in a nest of fluff and feathers or anything soft and warm they can get their tiny paws on, with a preference of enclosed spaces to sleep in in the colder seasons.</i>
