Yes indeed, we are back to the big party in Kindling 3 years ago. This follows on from earlier in the chapter when Sylvia was dragged away by her father's goons, & its the first time we meet both her father Richard Drakon, but her often mentioned mother Allison. Also problems with a mysterious facility? I'm sure that's not going to have ANY bearing on the story at some point...
