The Indian Elephant's ears did not attach near the top of the head. Instead they are more to the side. Drawing a line from the eye to the ear is not the same as the African Bush. In fact, I'd consider it more around 2/3 of the way down instead of 1/2. Indian Elephants also seem to have less of a rounded skull than the African Bush.
