Dirk has to roll the film canisters down the hall one at a time
When I worked at a movie house when I was 13-15, I often wondered how such small canisters of film weighed so much, considering they were only 12" in diameter. But the canister along with the reel itself were both made of metal and one 20 minute film was 850 to 900 feet long...so...duh : ]

Yeah, one time I tired to impress my friend Katie by showing her a real film on a real projector, the film came loose from the take up reel and wrapped around the outer edge, and when I pulled it off, 850 feet of film fell onto the floor, and it had broken in three places. I thought I was going to get fired but when my boss came in she just told me to edit it back together and put it back, and that it was fine because nobody watched that one anymore XD

I merely ran the reels, putting them through the various gates and starting the movie, never had to do the splicing. It was still hell to do it for six projectors all in seven minutes, as it took sometimes two or three to do even one.
And neat, still some chance for some unaware and maybe even near vore interaction...what? It's my thing.
