rumor spread of a rabid wolf near the sleepy village by the sea, but when they went to the docks and investigate they discovered a rabbit-wolf raiding the fish baskets and crunhing merrily on a crustacean shell. At the gasps of surprise the creature hopped away, biting the milner's apprentice when the boy tried to impede the animal's escape. To this day the village still has the occaisional sighting, though most claim the witness soused. Not only is the creature spotted on land but also in the water, reportedly rarely needing to come up for air and swims like an otter or eel.
