I've been in love with your Musteladies series and characters ever since I found out about it!

Just out of curiosity, how long does it take to complete each comic page? I can see the pages tend to be spaced months apart, understandable considering how much work you obviously put into them.

Each page takes about a week to execute. In regards to the regularity of the comic, it's... complicated. I have always struggled with long term projects, and this is kind of my therapy to prove myself that I can go the distance. I am very committed to making this work, because I know that as much as you say you love my characters (and I really appreciate that), I know I love them even more. I really, really want to make this work. But sometimes I am plagued with self doubt over whether I will be able to make the next page as good as the previous one, and stuck between the wish to work on my pet project and the commitment to try and make it as a professional freelance illustrator, which demands that I spend most of my time working on commissions and on pieces that improve exposure and awareness of my work (basically, fan bait).

I hope to get to a point when I am able to spend most of my time working on this, but this is not that time yet. Until then, I hope you can forgive my irregularity, and still look forward to whatever else I may be cooking.

It's understandable your reasons for taking so much time with each page. I guess it's true what they say about an artist being their own harshest critics, because I 100% honestly believe every comic page and illustration by you is just as good as the last one, if not better, and judging by the kind of feedback I've seen you get know I'm far from the only one who thinks that. :)

I look forward to the day when you get more freedom and confidence to update more regularly and get the story off the ground, as you've created a very interesting and varied (and beautiful^^) cast of mustelid ladies and I'd very much like to find more about them, see them get more character development and how they interact with each other. So I hope you take all fan encouragement to heart to help you get to that point someday. :)

In the meantime I'll be enjoying whatever art you post whenever you can.^^
