A - Back when I started drawing what my own Ninja attire might look like a bit more seriously, this was what I came up with. I loved it for a long while; until I saw someone else using it on DA ... then I knew I needed to come up with something else.

B - The idea of a Corset outfit came to me one night while I was actually laying in bed watching Naruto; just kinda came outta no where, really. So, I set to work, and that was what I came up with.

C - I grew tired of the Corset idea, and drawing the stitching on the front, and wanted something a bit more simple. I also ran into the fact that I kept leaving out the Sand headband on my characters. But, here's the thing: I can't draw those damn head bands! So, I had to figure out where I was going to show off my Sand Village pride. And then it hit me ... the clothing itself! A little more tweaking, and this was the result.

D - The attire I have come to know and love today. All of these outfits were Chunin level ideas. As I didn't start seriously drawing Ninja attire until I started watching Shippuden, so it made sense to me. This is also the only outfit that has an official color theme. The others didn't last long enough, or I simply couldn't find a set of colors that I was pleased enough with to count as official. I also drew this one a bit larger, as it's the current attire :3

Whee! So there you have it. All of my Chunin level attire ideas. The first idea came to me in Sept. 2008 when we were without electricity due to Hurricane Ike kicking us in the face.
