This is something I really wanted to do a long time ago but never really know how I should make it ^^"
But well here is it and I will hope that you will take your time to learn more about my character NightShade.

NightShade's background story

Over 1000 years before that Spyro and Cynder saves the world from Malefor was there a small family.
The mother was a strong earth dragoness with curved horns and beautiful green eyes.
The father was a powerful fire dragon with straight horns and red eyes but the odd thing about him was that he was a black fire dragon, that was something unique in those times.
They had a son, he was a blue dragon with dark-blue eyes.
There was something special about him, like his father could he breath fire which was odd because he was blue and not red, but what there was more odd was that the fire wasn’t red but blue.
His name was NightShade.

The parents also had a daughter, she was a green cute little dragoness that was 5 years younger then her older brother.
After just a few years could they see that she mastered the earth element really well.
She made small caves she could play and rest in out side and when some flowers died in there garden then did she lat some new once grow out again.
She was green and had a yellow underbelly and wing membrane, her eyes was green as her mothers and she had white horns.
Her name was Gaia.
And there family lived happily and peaceful together

One day on NightShade’s 15 years birthday did something unexpected happen.
A king in a darker realm had heard about those unique dragons and he wanted the young blue one.
So he send some dark creatures to get him.
Suddenly in there home did the dark creatures broke in.
His parents tried to defend there kids but sadly did they both get killed in front of them.
Gaia cried loudly and that annoyed one of the creatures so he knocked her out.
NightShade yelled that they should leave her alone but he got stopped as another one of the creatures took him by his throat and they vanished in a shadow…

They then came to the castle of the king of the dark realm.
They dropped him on the flour and he looked up on this huge creature.
He wasn’t a dragon… what at least he could see, the creature was in a thick fog of darkness.
The creature, there was the king, raised his hand towards the young dragon.
NightShade wanted to flee but he couldn’t as he was stuck by some dark magic.
The king placed his hand on his forehead and he could feel a intense pain steaming though his body.
From the hand did his blue scales change to a dark color and the color ran over the rest of his body slowly.
The king then dropped him down, he was now a pitch black dragon but he still had his blue eyes and claws.
The dark creatures took him out of the kings castle.

Days passed then and he lived in this new realm.
His thought was filled with darkness that he tried to fight against but without luck.
He also tried to keep his memory of his family but they slowly fainted away, he could mostly remember his sister Gaia… was she still alive and what would she do now when there parents was dead? Many questions ran though his head but he couldn’t answer them because then would he get to work.
In this realm was he now a slave there did the dirty job for the king.
He didn’t like it but he had no choice or he would be kill so he did what he was told to do.
At times did he also get outside the realm on missions where he should kill villages and others.
In the start didn’t he like it but each time he killed someone did he start to enjoy it… the evil thoughts took over his mind as he killed others with a smile on his face… his memory of his sister slowly fainted away and this went on for many years.

But one day did something happen… he was ordered to destroy the village there was his home… many of his memories returned and he couldn’t do it… he started to attack his companions instead of the village.
NightShade have started to learn his new powers.
His flame breath was still blue but had a black glow in it now.
He mastered the dark element quickly and learned his special abilities:
That he could turn into a shadow and that way easily dodge every attack.
He could heal his wounds easily and without feeling pain.
He could change his age and couldn’t really die of all those abilities.
He mastered many powerful dark attacks and was become one of the strongest in the dark realm.

But the king know what he had done and he was sent up to him when he returned to get his punishment.
A year passed where he got tortured and his screams could be heard all over the realm.
When the year was passed did her get throw out of the gate of the castle.
He had now a lot of bleeding scars on his body but the odd thing was that the scars was only on his right side and they was blue instead of red… he had a lot on his body and legs and even some on his wings but still only his right wing and legs, he also now had two scars there crossed each other at his right eye but the very odd thing was that all his scars was glowing a blue glow.

Many years went and his memory was now darkened… he couldn’t remember his family and worst at all had he forgot who he really was… he was no longer that blue fire dragon but now a evil black dragon there searched for power.
But he also felt lonely… after some years didn’t he care but he never done anything then was on the missions and was a slave for the king.
But he still had a dream… but it was a evil dream… he wanted to get out of this realm and take over his own realm as the master of it instead of the purple dragon to Malefor.
The realm have heard of the purple dragons powers and was amazed, but they didn’t want to do anything with him.

But after many more years, where NightShade have stopped to count all those years now, had they all heard that Malefor had returned and a new purple dragon would take the fight against him.
But sadly did the dark king make a deal with Malefor.
His dark creatures would also now be Malefor’s slaves and Malefor would give some of his powers to the king.
So NightShade now became the slave of the evil purple dragon and he didn’t like it.
He at times tried to kill Malefor because he was actually stronger then the purple dragon but Malefor know that he was hated by some of the dark creatures so he had a spell on him there did when a creature came near him then would the creature grow weaker to he had no strength left.

After a single year after that did he met Damien.
He was a red demonic dragon there have entered the dark realm and NightShade slowly started to be friends with him.
He was also darkened by power and he was almost as strong as NightShade.

A few years passed and then it finally happened… The new purple dragon Spyro had defeated Malefor, but they was still trapped in the dark realm because Malefor was the only one with the power to open portals to it, the dark king had give it to him when they made the deal.
But small portals started to appear in a short time in the realm, they just suddenly came and in some few seconds vanished again.

One lucky day sat NightShade and Damien and was bored.
Suddenly do a portal appear in front of them and he sees a chance to finally get out of this boring realm.
But he didn’t want to get Damien with him, he was a friend but he didn’t want to rule that realm with him so he quickly knocked him out and ran though the portal before it closed.
He came out and looked around, he was at a peaceful meadow surrounded by flowers.
“This is going to be fun” he grinned…
