This young Hlernis, that is to say, a female Visco, is from the badlands in the southern Visco isles. More than likely she's a huntress, as she does not bare any markings of a Hler'essian.

I like this, along with a lot of your other pictures, but one thing I wonder is: what *is* a Visco? I don't think I quite understand all the groups and races you have. I would have favourited your map too, by the way, but since you said you'd probably change the file I figured I'd wait ^^
As for what a Visco is, it is.. I suppose, well canine. But as for an exact species, that would be harder to state. They are, simply "Visco", at least as far as recorded history goes..
Umm, as for their true past, it's kind of unknown. It's possible they were a more 'normal' species, like a fox for instance and their species was warped by the 'blight' on their island home, a magical disease of sorts that infests everything living within to varying extents, manifesting itself primarily in the males of a species.
On the other hand, it's possible they were always the way they are now.
As far as personality goes, the average Visco is rather human in attitude. Perhaps on the more depraved side of things, but that may be the influence of their rather corrupt theocracy than their true nature, which varies between the sexes. (Males tend to be considerably quicker to anger, more prone to violence, greed and malice, whilst the females tend towards calm, disciplined actions and thoughts.
