Presenting...the infamously mischievous, egregiously gregarious, quixotically amorous, and devilishly devious Piplup twins, Pip and Trip!
...Yes, I *know* Trip is a Torchic. I attempted to argue this point once, only to learn it's easier to follow Senate hearings than debates with these two.
According to the nuns at St. Jenny's Foundlings Home, their mother abandoned them as eggs, and from the moment they hatched, they have been "curiously identical, and claim to be brothers, despite the obvious biological impracticality of the same." AND WHO AM *I* TO ARGUE WITH NUNS?
So, yes. They look alike; they act alike; and they not only talk alike, but are adept at finishing each other's sentences (when they're not precisely in chorus). Born tricksters, they're as adept at causing trouble as they are at getting out of it. Trip's more into teasing and harmless pranks (and money-making schemes); Pip's skill lies in practical jokes and (at least in his opinion) impressing the ladies. They're also straight as arrows, but completely willing to mislead their marks if their present scheme calls for it.
(And, while we're on the subject of egos, no I did *not* accidentally put Pip's "button markings" overtop his uniform. The Piplup is not wearing a shirt, the better to show off with. Just how long he'll be able to keep this up before someone notices that emblem is painted on, I couldn't say - but Trip's started taking bets on the matter.)
The twins wish to sign on with the Poke Star Rangers because, hey, it sounds like a fun thing to do.
For those still trying to get a bead on their personalities, they're something akin to what you would get if you combined Hikaru and Kaoru (the Ouran High School twins) with Fred and George Weasley. (I don't know. They were originally
indigoangelcat's brainchild, but she has so many PSR characters she wanted to know if I'd take on Trip, and OMG do I love me my tricksters. Stories featuring these two will be collabs between us.)
Microns on drawing paper, colored in Photoshop. ....And, yes - apparently, at 0500, my vocabulary wakes up and flexes its muscles. @_@;
