Now here we got with her being really pregnant with our child. Like before this is fan fiction and not canon to the HTH game.

Leading Up
The two decided it was best to make the announcement at a place where many could be gathered. Luckily it happened during one of their friend's birthday party. They did it at a time when it was most convent for everyone else once most of the celebration had died down while eating the food. The families promised to keep it a secret. Bella and Larry were here as well. When everyone had their attention turned to the wedded couple, Nicholas spoke into a mike. "Thanks to coming to this everyone," the fosky stated. "I'm sure you're wondering how me and Rio are doing being married. It's great but that's not why we came to gather all of you."
"Yes," the folf stated. "Something wonderful has happened and wanted everyone else to know."
The two looked at each other with grins and then said at the same time into the mike, "We're pregnant!"
For some seconds everyone went silent with shock. It was Bella who first let out a happy shout and that broke the ice. "What?!" the polar bear exclaimed. "Are you really?!" She went to her friend and the two were hugging and laughing. Everyone else went to Nicholas to high five or hug him.
"Oh we've got to have a baby shower for you two!" Bella stated. "Leave it to me!"
Well the rest of the island were very happy for Nicholas and Rio, giving them small gifts or just a congratulations. The hybrid couple just took them all with smiles. And so the next few months passed by and quickly the stomach area of the female canine hybrid began to get bigger. And with that the cravings came as well. Of course Rio wasn't the only one as a bit latter after finding out she was pregnant, Bella and Larry announced the polar bear was pregnant as well. Then another couple announced they were pregnant again. Everyone was very happy for these people while the soon to be parents knew their kids would have someone there age to play with.
It then became the fifth month and it found Rio standing in front of the bathroom mirror, her paws rubbing her stomach that was now protruding. Smiling the folf turned sideways to get a look at the angle. Never in her life had the female felt as womanly as she did in that moment. Suddenly Nicholas came in and saw what she was doing with a smile. "Good morning both of you," he said.
"Hey there," Rio cooed. "So you ready for today?"
"How could I not be?" Today was the day an appointment with an obstetrician would see them and hopefully tell them the sex of their baby.
"Well I need a shower. Join me." The two were in there in a flash. Of course this was probably one of the last times when sex would happen. The two had agreed that since Rio would be too big and tired, it was for the best.
The two were soon back at the office and were smiling. When called to the back, they did so while holding paws. The room was ready for them with the raised half-bed and the machines that would help with the checkup. The same doctor who had confirmed the folf was pregnant came in a few minutes latter. "You two ready?" the second female asked and the couple nodded.
The viewing screen was turned on and a cone shaped device was placed on Rio's stomach after it was exposed. The instrument was moved down and then the image of a tiny developing hybrid canine appeared. Loud an clear came the fetal heartbeat. Nicholas and his wife gasped. "It's…" the folksy whispered. Relief and awe washed over the female. The two took in ever detail as the doctor checked for any problems. The fetus was curled in half, the tiny paws flexing and opening, occasionally the leg kicked and the tail moved.
"There," the doctor stated and the sex of the baby was obvious.
"A boy," Rio gasped.
"A son," Nicholas whispered.
"As far as I can see, he's healthy. According to the machine he appears to be in the twenty-two to twenty-three week period."
"That means I'm almost six months!" the folf stated.
"It was a misjudgment on the due date, but nothing crucial." Ten minutes latter the appointment was over and it found the two talking about names. Of course they heard about what the genders for the other two children that were coming would be. Bella and Larry's child would be a boy as well, but the third couple were having a girl. They had a name picked out; Alexis.
During the ninth month, Nicholas's family had made it down. Rio's parents had left after being told but were back as well. It also found Rio once again standing up and stroking her huge stomach. But this time she was in the nursery that was ready for her son. The crib and cabinet to hold the baby and his things were ready. Nicholas then came in and hugged his wife from behind. He was wearing the special shoes and his noise brushed against her hair. His left paw rubbed the female while the right did the same for her right arm. "Hey you two," he whispered.
"Hey there love," Rio cooed. Suddenly she felt the baby kick her and gasped.
"What is it?" the fosky asked.
"Our son kicked is all," the folf stated with a laugh. Her husband couldn't help but chuckle.
