It is not BS. People whose income falls below 400% of the Federal Poverty Guideline are entitled to more help this year with their insurance premiums than before, thanks to a recent loophole. Yes, people who earn above that amount still have to pay premiums, which is unfortunate, but that does not apply to all Americans. I'm sorry you have had a bad experience, but you can't speak for everyone who is eligible for premium assistance.
