I didn't originally intend to color this, but since it's the first full picture of my character Sarah Lancaster that I've drawn, I felt it was warranted. Although I tried to make it faster by skipping the inking, giving it a sort of watercolor effect which I like. ^^

I may make this a part of a bigger piece, with Sarah performing more drills and exercises to improve her play. She's struggled in the last couple of seasons a bit, so the point of this focus on training is that she's been working her butt off to get back to her past productivity when she was an All-Star, or as close to it as possible. It may also include a story which would feature the coach of the Typhoons, Hildegard Tetreault (who also played a big part in signing Sarah to the team). Maybe her stats will go up as a result of the training, but that remains to be seen.
