I was eager to do a TMNT piece for the longest piece, and here it is in all it's glory! Well, as glory can get.
I sketched the figures and drawing out yesterday and did the coloring today. I always love the thrill of finished work and showing it off!
The 2007 movie was actually good. But I decided to keep the turtles themselves like they've been in the 2000's toon, buffed out instead of the lean movie version. And I kept Splinter like how he appears in the movie as well. My favorite turtle used to be Mikey when I was a kid, but now it's Raphael, follwed by Mikey second. Mikey reminds me a lot of me, especially in good company! 8)
Here they're just having a bit of family time. Family is important, especially in a society like today. I drew them just shooting the shit. I'll leave it up to you what they're discussing. Enjoy!

I would want to congratulate you for this pic. Let me tell you something: i had the oportunity to play Mikey in a TMNT play long time ago, and I liked very much and I didn't want to play the other ones, because I liked Mikey. And second, what you said is a big truth: family is very important, specially in these times, because the family warm is being lost, for many reasons. Thank you truly!!
