My former group CC rolled his eyes when this Old Howler joined the morning formation at the last encampment, not realizing this fursuiter has distinguished himself in his prime specialty track. The group CC in a neighboring group saw the potential and had previously extended invitations to transfer. The Wing CC likes Rocket for the publicity he generates and his ability to raise the cadets' morale. Members like to come to encampments knowing that he's going to appear throughout the week. The cadets shout his name when he trots into the ballroom for the graduation party on Friday night. The magic of fursuiting is awesome.
I think the book should be made into a movie, possbly with GCI animation. That coyote was buried with full military honors. I wept.
