"The 군인 is the KPSU’s mainline infantry bot. It’s a dated design, having seen two decades of use. Nevertheless, the 군인 excels in its role as a mass-deployment war bot. The Japanese Separatists, Korean Autonomous Industries, and Chinese Robotics Procurement Branch banded together to create and mass-produce this machine of war.
The 군인 has excellent situational awareness, seeing multiple angles through a number of visual filters, making them very difficult to evade. Their armor is light, yet strong enough to withstand many hits from conventional weaponry, and their speed and maneuverability are unparalleled. Their weaknesses lie in exposed mobility joints, costly repair time, and a decreased effectiveness in one-on-one situations.
Unlike NATO robot infantry, the 군인 RI has no programmed safeguards to prevent it from harming humans. The KPSU has refused to implement safeguards in their units, due to the use of human operators by NATO."
