Hey guys! Finals are over and I'm getting back into the swing of things with commissions. First up is the start of a comic series for my good man
theyellowcoat featuring his girl, Riley. What will she turn into? Find out next time on Sonic X! =P
P.S. Based off a story done by the very talented kooncds on FurAffinity =)
-The text from the story used for this page:
“And that was Bad Moon Rising, the classic from 1969. Stay tuned for more midnight
classic rock here on Night Howl Radio…” With a sigh, Riley’s pressed a manicured finger down on the next selection button. She began the series of pre-recorded advertisements and promotions the station required her to play. It was a selection of commercials for local businesses and political causes that became boring after only about forty-seven seconds of listening. The young woman watched her clock, silently counting down the seconds until she could return back to the actual music.
“Thank you, and welcome back to 99.7, Night Howl Radio. Now we have an older and
more unknown piece; from the Alan Parsons Project- Children of the Moon!” Riley smiled and clicked the next song, kicking her feet up, and zoned out, trying to enjoy the quiet stillness of the graveyard shift.
Riley was careful to keep her heavy boots off of the sensitive soundboards and computer
systems that populated the table before her. They were expensive as all hell, and any damage that came to them would be coming out of her pocket. There wasn’t even anyone who she could blame, should something happen- at this hour, it was only her in the station, and the guard in the shack outside. Even so, Riley did not mind solitary work. She certainly didn’t mind solitary work in a place as nice as this. The booth had two comfortable office chairs, a couch, and a mini-fridge. For many, it was an ideal place to work. However, Riley did mind boring work, though, and after a few hours, and with the moon having risen high overhead, it was becoming insufferable.
The fact that her arm was itching incessantly didn’t help.
Riley had gotten a shot early that morning, a vaccine for some disease that someone would need a degree in linguistics to say the name of. On her upper left arm, she had a blue bandage, covering the swollen and itching injection site. It’d been free, and Riley was not one to turn down free medical care. Sure, she may have never heard of the disease it was for, but a vaccine was a vaccine- better to have it and not need it, then the other way around, the saying went. But now, with the way the skin was itching, hot, and sore, well- it worried her. Sure, the doctor had mentioned some minor side effects… but, was this an infection? Allergic reaction? Should she have taken the night and went to see the doctor in the morning?
Riley groaned to herself, before letting it become a quiet growl of irritation. One feminine hand worked along the pink streak in hair, while the other scratched at her arm. The swelling had gotten worse, and the girl had resorted to keeping the sleeve of her licensed band t-shirt up, trying to avoid irritating the skin further.
'Pay no attention to the writing on the wall'
The song continued, playing both in Riley’s headphones as well as over the radio. Riley’s head bobbed to the beat, even as she scratched at her arm. Her scratching became more frantic as she went, before finally she could take it no longer. With a quiet snarl, Riley ripped the bandaid off in one go.
Riley was prepared for some pain, but not the amount she received. The girl let out a muffled scream, eyes flashing as she felt the distinct sensation of pulling a few dozen hairs up by the root. That was a waxing, not a bandaid pulling, and it made her concern skyrocket. Brown eyes scoured red, raw flesh, and caught sight of something horrifying. Surrounding the injection site was a dusting of tawny hairs, arrayed in a circle around an inflamed wheal. Even as she watched, the hairs grew longer and thicker, the pale skin beneath becoming obscured, and then, totally coated. Riley had a baseball sized circle of fur on her upper arm, and no idea why.

theyellowcoat! I'm so excited!
Woooooo yay! Thanks so much. I don't think I have much talent, but I do have skill that I've managed to scrounge up after trying a ton. And thanks, it's so appreciated, and I would adore to write a story for you one day. And awesome! Should it go in the comics or in the description?
You're very welcome! ^^ lolz You are plenty talented, my man and practice makes perfect~ :D Woot! That would be hype! XP If you send me a link to it I can add it into the description of the submission file. :) I do have the .docx file, but idk if furaffinity will poop itself trying to link it by that means. lmao
