so for this final i did in advanced photoshop class, i based this on a drawing i did back in my first quarter, where the assignment was to draw a mindscape. or to put it "simply" put what goes on in your head, down on paper. the purpose of this was to give people an idea of what your mind is like. so i drew what i see in my head when i meditate, and when i meditate, i envision a floating island surrounded by vast space, and on this island, is a mansion, a large tree shaped like my sona, with leaves growing out of the wings, a lonely little water fountain, and above casting light, is a giant sword emitting light from within the hilt. the sword being too far up to see at this angle, but everything on paper was visible.
where you see the two blue pillars of light, are symbols that represent magic gates, one in each direction, north, northeast, est, southeast. and so on. the ethereal sprites were an optional thing i decided to add in during the morning while at work before class when this was due.
everything in this scene was 3d modeled out in z-brush, and blender, and then ALL the details were done with photoshop.
this was interesting to play with as this was the very first time i actually bothered to edit anything outside of a final render.
