Had watched the old animations 'Year Without A Santa Claus' that was/is one of m'favorite holiday classics heh an so had ta pull these guys off from the wall in m'office where they've been hangin' fer years... had gotten them from a dear ol' friends years ago by another old friend who compared us ta them since he prefered the cold while I like the heat... so we became The Miser Brothers ta her.
Poor lil' fellers have gotten a bit dusty over the many years I've had'em but they've never been removed from their boxes they came in... corny thing ta be sentimental over I know but they will always have a special place in m'heart an memories... {:)

I hadn't either... way back when they were first given ta me so ya can imagine my surprise an joy when I'd first unwrapped them... an we would always joke about it... never seen or thought about lookin' fer any others since then either... don't know if they're still made or have since been discontinued either... might be collector's items by now heh :P
WOW that is so cool!!!! Now the song is in my head. My sis and I looked forever to find a copy online to show her little ones the movie. My holiday go to growing up was this Christmas Dreamland thing, a bunch of shorts of those old animation style stories..and my grandpa used to sing along all funny with it. ..wonder if I can find more about it..

I grew up with those "old" Christmas specials (can classics really be called "old"?). Hell, I still can belt out all the words to the "Miser Brothers" song. Used to have it as my ringtone every December, until I got this new cell that I refuse to spend money on ringtones for.
And lastly, I will always be Mr. White Christmas, because seriously-- fuck the heat! XD

Oh he would have been perfect and I know a friend who would have loved that as well...sadly I already picked out the last days. If you're interested I can msg you the full list of applicants. I tried to go with people I knew or liked. I also wanted to go with ones people might not know about, so sadly Mr. Freeze didn't make the cut.
