Retsis has a more geometric border design because she's the more serious of the two.
This is actually when she’s somewhat younger. So she’s something like 18-21 and this is the outfit she would wear when she’d go off and study in the field, learn magic out in the mountains or hike around the kingdom and observe the lives of the people. She’d be gone 3-6 weeks at a time (make Omorphia lonely without her big sister around) and always come back with some new knowledge and a new spell to show off because she’s a quick learner! And self study has always been her strong suit.
This outfit was heavily inspired by Skyrim mage outfits - she needed many layers to keep her safe from the elements when travelling. This is meant to be her "student" sort of outfit haha
