Not exactly a thousand, but I didn’t count it exactly. It’s probably more.
You can see the black moving up the side and stopping just below the eye. I’m working on it in two rows basically. One where it connects with all of the colors, I work on that side when I have pretty good lighting because I don’t want to screw up anything especially next to all of the color of the pattern. The other, I can work on with a lot less light because it’s just filling in row after row of black.
I tell ya, working with black on black can give me a headache with my eyes working so hard, but that’s the importance of lighting with stitching!
The next update will be with black filled in all the way up to the top of the pattern. I’ll see ya then!
