Living in the vast deserts on the main continent of Tanau, desert Hranus are hunters that use stealth and incredible speed to catch prey.
Rarely venturing out of their burrows in the heat of the day, the rely on lifting neck scales to cool off in the heat. Like all Hranus, they have small ears and are relatively poorly designed for their environment.
Although they are a pale color to help stay cool, and have wide paws for walking on sand, they only thrive in flatter areas of the deserts, where the dunes are still low. Camel-like back feet do make it easier to traverse the sand, but they prefer areas of short scrub and thin grass.
