This is another idea I've had for a while. I sketched this while I was on a break at work. It was done entirely in ink, start to finish. I love the way it turned out, even though it's just a doodle. My scanner fails, so part of it was cut off at the top.
The figure in the center is supposed to represent sacrifice of self...a Buddhist Monk sort of martyr idea. The dragon is fat and gluttonous, feeding off of the blood and labor of the figure. The dragon is split into two personalities, but each one is entirely focused on only itself.
I will probably expand upon this idea sometime.
