This is a collaboration picture, actually. One night, Lizsama (known here as Volcanus) and I decided to try and kill our respective Art Blocks by drawing in OpenCanvas together. Two pictures came out of it, actually. The first one we did was a Darkie/Sally picture!

This was the one we did afterwards. <3

Liz drew Metal and I drew Amy Rose. And then, afterwards, we decided we'd each ink and colour one of them. She did the Darkie/Sally one, obviously, and I did this one.

And OMG, my hand hated me during the inking process. @o;;

This is -completely- digital. All the sketches were done in OpenCanvas 1.1. Then I brought it over to OpenCanvas 3 and inked and coloured it there.

..... I luff OpenCanvas and totally want to have it's babies. (3

Anyways! XD With inking included I'd say I put about... oh... eight hours of work into this picture. @o; But it's because of the -detail-. And also because I was originally going to make Amy's newly designed outfit purple and black and then realized it looked -horrible- on her. @o; So I had to mess around with it until it looked good.
Darkie likes blood red better anyways. <.< XD

I didn't give it a background because, quite frankly, I've put enough work into this already. @_@ And.. y'know.. I'd started the figures first and if I put the BG in all I'd be doing is messing up the light source and what colour it should be and.. ARG. Yeah. So you get generic crappy gradient background! <3

So yeah.. done in OC3 with a Wacom over a total of about eight hours.

OH! And yes, Amy's eyes are supposed to look like that~ >=3 <3<3<3
