I would say you are free to colour it whenever you feel like it but the photo doesn't really serve as a good medium to manipulate. I will re-upload the file later when I will get the scan. It should make it much clearer.

Actually I have a line only version scanned on my hdd. It seems I have scanned it before my scanner broke. I will upload it to my scraps if you will want to use that version. Might be actually even better to clean.
As for colours i thought she might have something resembling copper or bronze I think but you are free to play around with her if you would think something would fit her better.
