THE PROCESS
It would depend on the modality, but:

✦ Speedpainting

•Description or idea of the client + their visual references if there are any (Character itself, pose, costumes, details or props that look like what you want). Although they are not necessary (except for the existing images of the character, of course) they speed up the process a lot and help me better understand what you´re looking for.
•Sketch and the sample of the same to the client, the corresponding corrections if there is one. Sketch will be like the sketch mode, depending on the final result the number of corrections included vary throughout the process **
•Speedpainting finished, shows it to the client and makes corrections if any.

** Includes 3 corrections.

✦ Full Character

•Description or idea of the client + their visual references if there are any (Character itself, pose, costumes, details or props that look like what you want). ✦ Character design
Character design includes many other stages, such as search for character design and accessories, color searches, a greater number of corrections, etc.


**The number of corrections doesn't refer to each corrected detail, but to the number of global corrections. Example: if in the stage of sketch, you want to correct the face, the suit and the color of eyes, that is a whole correction. The correction convinces you, but in the final stage, you change your mind and want another hairstyle and another suit color, it's second correction, etc.
