A still life take of multiple journals each increasing to the last and impressive angel wing journal. It is aimed to give a sense of a gradual rising or an ascension of source while leaving the top journal to stand out in contrast.

Ambient soft lighting was used to originally add a more soft tone and mood to the picture. Contrast and a tint of blue were used to add to the effect of the top journal standing out and somewhat according to advice.

It may also be used to express the increase in writing skill or practices from note books to a standalone work rising from it all as ground work.
