First of, this is music inspired by this graphic novel series: http://dreamkeeperscomic.com/
It's about cute little balls of fur fighting cosmic abominations set on devouring all that is alive. You should check it out. But if you want to just listen to the music, stay a while and listen.
Secondly, I actually did an entire fan soundtrack for the fourth volume, called 'Descent To The Archives'. It's basically a dungeon crawl adventure with less monster slaying and more mystery, except for a big fight at the very end, so writing music for it was kind of fun. You can check all the music out here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?li.....mxB7bIsipPUgPk
It's another version of 'The Descent'. I could've gone with Nabonidus theme or gone and finished up a proper theme for the Nightmares as a whole, but I wanted this song to be the red thread that ties everything together that happened in the down-low. It's a slower version than any we heard before, but it's still far from a calm recollection of a history lost. Instead, I wanted it to sound more like the soundtrack was revving up for something more. It's an ominous track with a more heavy focus on the dreamkeepers theme than any other instance of the fourth volume. I'm kinda happy with this.
