It was time for a little refresh for Cosmo; after all, the ref was three years old and there has been a few things that changed! Here's a quick lowdown from the change log:
-Goaty: While it looks like facial hair in itself, it's more of a marking to give an idea of a goaty. Red Pandas actually have this marking on their chin, and I wanted to give it to Cosmo too!
-Back Star: Initially, back in 2015, Cosmo had in his prototype arts a start in the back; however, for I was making him into a fursuit, I opted out of it due to my lack of experience with sewing. Next iteration of his suit will definitely feature it.
-Tail: The gradient is removed. It was a pain to draw not only for me but for other fellow artists. Plus it was not to my liking anymore.
-Body Type: Made Cosmo more chubby, akin to actual red pandas and to highlight his clumsiness and waddling walking cycle.
-Soles: No longer canine/feline-like. Instead, I went for full paw soles, akin to the real species (See: Raccoons too).
All in all, these are minor reworks of my co-sona; soon enough Espresso and Damon are going to pass through the same treatment to make my characters more uniform with each other and up to date with both my style and my ideas I have for them.
Enjoy!
