This here is a pretty epic adventure and friendship art-trade story for
eskaria145, about his Demon character Apricot teaming up with a little Raccoon guy named Terrance in a "post apocalyptic" like future world.
I had tons of fun making this, and I hope you also enjoy it.

EDIT.
Due to some confusion over my choice of image I would like to point out that the little Raccoon guy in that image is NOT the same as in the story!
I just got inspired to use someone of a similar species for it.
When this takes place is hard to tell, since after and endless spiral of war and violence time itself has lost complete meaning, as every day looks the same and the entire world is unchangeable.
A complete wasteland!
While many places now is nothing more then hunting grounds for plain survival of both the primitive wildlife and the evolved ones, there is still a few places that is trying it's hardest to retain what could be called a still functioning society.
But these places a mostly false facades with corrupt leaders that holds all the powers, and were those that so much as thinks about not following the rules is seen as traitors.
This was the seemingly fate of Terrance, a simple Raccoon guy that thanks to a misunderstanding was labelled as an "enemy to the empire", and had been sentenced to "only" a lifetime of work in one of the many prison camps.
By some sheer miracle he managed to actually escape the place, and soon found himself being all alone as he ran out into the wilderness! (Thanks to how feared the government was there was no way anyone would want to help him, since they knew it would make it look like they were working with him.)
Being now all by himself in a place he had never set his foot on outside of the city walls, Terrance didn't know if he would be awaiting a certain death from the unknown creatures living there or not. (But he did know that stopping would only increase the chances of government soldiers coming out searching for him, so keeping on running was his only option at the moment.)
The outside world wasn't much better then the one he had grown up to know from inside his sealed up city. The air seemed a bit clearer out in the wild compared to the city (Thanks to it not having any factories pumping out smog clouds constantly), but everything just looked about as dead and deserted of any real life like it had on the inside.
Even plants and trees was showing great damage from radiation, as it seemed almost like the entire world was slowly dying away, and here Terrance was just wondering around as a pointless extra in it all.
With the sun settling down the Raccoon convict decided to try and seek some shelter from the dark and cold night by finding a nearby cave to rest in.
Despite having found some berries and nuts to eat earlier Terrance still felt pretty hungry as he was going to sleep, as his stomach was making loud roaring sounds over wanting more.
He was just about to close his eyes when Terrance heard a similar sounding noise responding to his stomach's gurgling, and when looking up he saw how deeper inside the cave was something big and almost glowing looking at him.
Turns out he wasn't as alone as he had thought!
It was a pretty big cave, but still it wasn't hiding the fact that he was sharing the space with something really huge!
Hearing the sound of the beast's mighty paws hitting the floor and feeling how the force was causing small earthquakes Terrance knew he should try and escape, but he was simply to frozen of fear and to weak out of hunger to make any proper attempt at escaping this time.
As it came into view so that he could see it fully Terrance had to admit that it didn't look like any kind of creature he had ever seen before, with it's snow white glimmering fur, huge claws, a lizard's tail, rows of sharp looking spikes growing out of it's back, big horns on it's head, seemingly no eyes, and standing about 15 feet tall in height!
Standing just in front of him now Terrance sat pressed into a corner dead quiet as the monster sniffed around before it then surprisingly started speaking by asking, "Is there anyone here?" in a very loud and booming voice.
Terrance still was way to scared to give any answer to the beast's question, and he didn't get any calmer when the white furred thing lowered it's head down to his level (Being so close that it could eat him if it wanted to) and asked again, "Who are you, stranger?"
Feeling now like there was no other choice then to cooperate with the very dangerous looking monster a now almost fainting Raccoon boy said, "T-Terrance. M-My n-name is T-Terrance." to the strange looking thing.
Then to his surprise he could see the thing make something that looked a bit like...smiling? with it's mouth, as the beast said back "Well my name is Apricot, and I hope that my cave is comfy for you, little one." in a now much more "positive" sounding booming voice.
"So...you are not going to try and eat me?" Terrance asked surprised as Apricot started laughing loudly and rolling over on his spike filled back said, "Of course not! Why would I ever want to eat a friendly visitor?"
This was making Terrance feel a lot more safer now that this big monster looking thing in reality seemed to be the most friendly thing he had been encountering in (literally) his whole life, as he got back up and actually tried to start a proper conversation with it.
"So how come someone as big and strong looking like you is hiding out in a cave like this?" Terrance asked as Apricot sighed a bit and said, "The other ones in my herd felt I was weird, so I was kicked out."
"Do they live far from here? I mean, given your white fur I would guess you would all live in some kind of snow filled area." Terrance said casually as Apricot suddenly shouted out in shock, "I AM WHITE?!"
That's when Terrance got reminded his newfound friend didn't have any eyes to have notice the colour of his fur on his own, and feeling more then a bit awkward now the slightly nervous Raccoon asked, "Is that a bad thing...?"
Feeling a bit bummed down now Apricot revealed that, "In my kind you have black fur to help you blend in with the darkness when we hunt for preys. So if I am white then that means that I was seen as a liability for my herd." and feeling a bit guilty now over having hurt the feelings of his much larger friend Terrance tried to make him feel better by saying, "You did manage to sneak up on me, so you still are a very good hunter."
This did make Apricot start to feel a bit better as he said, "And given I can be seen in the dark I guess that makes you a very easy prey?" which Terrance was prepared to let him have so that he would feel proud over his white fur coat.
"If you want to know I got not only kicked out of my own "herd", but they first had me as their prisoner before I then managed to escape out of it on my own." Terrance explained as Apricot sat down next to him and said, "Guess we are both a couple of misfits, aren't we?" before then laying one of his massive paws on top of the much smaller Raccoon man.
"Say. Are you planning on leaving this cave when the next day comes?" Apricot then asked as Terrance was a bit confused at first before then saying, "Yes. I think so. Why do you ask?"
"Cause I was wondering if I could join you perhaps?" Apricot said as he lowered his head again down to him and said, "Given that I don't have any eyes to see with I don't have very far I can go from this cave before risking getting lost. But if you were to ride on top of my head then maybe you could work as my eyes?"
"You would want ME to be your company?" Terrance asked a bit surprised (As this was the most useful he had ever got to feel before.) as Apricot insured him that, "I don't only want you, I NEED you if I wish to live much longer."
"If you can help me hunt for stuff we can eat, then I would gladly be your guiding eyes for the long journey awaiting." Terrance said as Apricot slammed his other paw into the ground hard and shouted, "DEAL!" before he gave his newfound friend a playful lick with his huge tongue.
After that they both went to rest for the fight (With Terrance feeling a lot more cosy now being all wrapped up in the fuzzy arms of Apricot), as tomorrow would bring the start of their new friendship together.
Terrance had to admit that when travelling through the wastelands on top of a big demon creature it was not only a lot more easier on his feet but also a bit fun, as it gave such a feeling of adventuring and exploring the unknown.
It was the same for Apricot as he would have otherwise have to spend the rest of his life hiding in the dark of the caves, but was now feeling a lot more free when letting himself walk around without fearing of getting lost. He still had the sense of touch, smell, and hearing to help him notice and hear things in his surroundings, but having Terrance to work as his eyes really helped a lot.
Despite it being just the two of them they both felt safe, as they each was trusting the other one to 100%, and knew that the other one would never say or do anything that would risk hurting them in any way.
With no clear goals of where to go they just followed little things like how the winds were blowing and the settings of the stars, as just finding some food and shelters was all that they really needed.
Apricot proved to be a really good fisher and hunter despite his lack of vision, as when by a lake he could pull up plenty of fish with his huge claws for his Raccoon friend, while then defending and eating up some Bears and Moose's to fill up his own big hunger.
On rare occasions they seemed to come across either a small group of people or just a lonely survivor, and most times they found it wise to let them be as they either got really scared from seeing them coming or they were carrying some kind of weapon and would threat to use it if they got any closer.
When having your own personal Demon ride/fishing buddy/best friend at your side Terrance felt so blessed that he was okay with seemingly never getting into contact with outsides or strangers.
There was one day when their friendship and trust for one and another would really be put to the test, and it was during one of their real down times.
Making a few bad decisions when picking directions had lead the two to enter into areas that was really empty on foods, plants, and just life in general.
With no real idea on were to go to get out of this misery the lost friends ended up wandering for days without food or water, and it was getting bad when even Apricot's big furry gut was starting to shrink down in size!
Eventually when it all looked to be lost a nearly passed out Terrance (laying flat on top of the head of Apricot) lifted his head enough to see what was up ahead, and at first he had to rub his eyes slightly to make sure he wasn't day dreaming.
In the distance he could see what looked like a "hidden valley" that was being almost sealed off with only one entrance to it, and what was much more important was that he could see what looked like a pond filled with clean and clear WATER!!!
"Apricot! Look!" Terrance shouted excitedly (Forgetting for the moment that it was the exact thing that his Demon friend could not do) as he was almost jumping up and down on top of his horned head to get his attention.
"What is it?" Apricot asked in a confused and tired voice (Being on the verge of falling over from dehydration and all), but when he heard Terrance yell "WATER!!!" he immediately got into full attention and asked "Where? Where?!" as he looked around like a doggy after his ball.
"Just run straight my friend. Just run straight!" Terrance shouted as Apricot started to (literally) run blindly towards the almost hidden area.
It was first when they were almost there that the Raccoon wondered about having Apricot slowing down before risking a head-on impact with the thick walls, but luckily the entrance passes was just wide enough to let a slimmed down/starved version of this fluffy Demon pass through without a problem.
Once inside Apricot only needed to feel how one of his paws was dipping into the water pond to quickly dive his head down to start drinking it up, which also lead to Terrance falling off from the sudden movement and taking a full on bath into it!
And while Apricot was happily drinking up as much as he could Terrance emerged from the water to gasp for some air, before then also losing his breath in fear over what he was seeing.
All around this pond they had entered was piles of skeletons from all kinds of monsters and creatures!
What did this mean? Was the water...poison?!
Quickly in panic Terrance tried to swim over and force his big friend to stop with his countless drinking, when suddenly he could feel how something "scaly" had been touching by his floating feet.
Was there something else in the water with them?!
Terrance was just about to warn Apricot about the hidden danger in the waters when suddenly some big thick coils came shooting up from underneath him, and as the small Raccoon came flying away about 10 feet the creature emerged!
Standing up in the water pond was huge dark blue snake looking creature, at the same level of height as Apricot, with the head shape of Cobra, and two strong looking arms attached to it's slithering body. A Naga!
Hearing the sudden noises of the water splashing and Terrance's yelling from being sent off Apricot raised his head to look around, but thanks to his blindness he couldn't spot the monstrous creature being just in front of him.
It wasn't until a sudden hissing sounds made him turn his head towards the Naga that the snake thing used it's arms to grab a hold onto the big horns on top of the white Demon's head, and then with it's big strength lifted up it's opponent in the air before then slamming him down!
Knowing now that there was a very powerful fighter with him Apricot tried his hardest to fight back with his claws and teeth!
Being still in the water the Naga's every movement made it reveal it's location to Apricot, who landed a few successful cuts into the scales of the huge snake, as some of it's blood started to pour into the otherwise clean water.
This really angered the monster living here as the Naga came jumping out of the pond to constrict it's body around Apricot's large frame, before then going wild with both biting and clawing against the one intruding into it's domains! (Even would have gone as far as to claw out the eyes of the Demon, if he had had any.)
Despite having not been in a fight for many years now Apricot still tried his hardest to hold up against the vicious Naga, but the hunger from before made itself reminded as it had lead to him being a lot weaker in his muscles and simply could not hold back for much longer.
Seeing how it's opponent was starting to give up the Naga decided to end it now by constricting it's body even more tighter around the big Demon, cutting of his way of breathing and quickly making him start losing his conscious!
Feeling how the resistance in Apricot's arms and legs was weakening the Naga seemed very pleased with having caught yet another prey that had been lured into it's home. (Probably it's largest meal ever.)
Not wanting to waste anytime the Naga started to open up it's jaws super wide, as it was planning on taking in those horns and that head first, just to have it's meal lose it's breath even quicker and die off so that it could eat him in peace.
The Naga was just about to have Apricot entering into it's mouth when a sudden rock being tossed into one of the beast's eyes made it drop what it was doing and see just were that rock had come from, only to then see that it had been from Terrance tossing it at the giant Snake.
Terrance seemed ready to do what it took to save his friend from a certain death, but he hadn't fully thought on what to do next as the very annoyed Naga decided to drop the unconscious Apricot to the side and instead first go after him now!
This once brave stand to fight back had quickly now turned into Terrance running away for his life, as the more then 20 feet long slithering terror was chasing after him!
With no Apricot to help him it was next to impossible for Terrance to see just what he could do to stop the monster on his own, so instead he took for hiding somewhere where he hoped that the Naga wouldn't be able to follow.
Seeing a very large crack between two of the many mountain walls sealing up this place Terrance quickly pushed himself inside as he could see the Naga looking very upset over seemingly not getting him now.
His thoughts of success was very short-lived however, as the Naga then tried to reach in with one of it's arms after him, and found that it could almost reach him!
Knowing he couldn't stay at the same spot until he was caught Terrance then started the dangerous task of pushing his feet and back against the tight walls and forcing himself to climb upwards to get away.
This plan however only worked temporarily as he could see how the Naga also was staring to dig it's claws into the mountain walls and climb along with him, forcing Terrance to continue non-stop to push himself upwards before the Naga could reach him!
Eventually the mountain walls ended as Terrance found himself having reached the very top of the mountains, before then seeing that the Naga was also just about to get up and he knew he had to start running again!
This time it felt even more hopelessly then before, as the very limited places to run besides "Straight ahead of the circle" meant that it would be only a matter of time before the Naga would catch up to him!
Looking down Terrance could see how Apricot was starting to get back to his senses again, and having only a few moments of advantages to the Naga the Raccoon boy quickly made his way towards part of the place that was closest to were Apricot was laying.
Getting back up onto his feet Apricot was just about to ask himself what had just happen when he heard the sound of Terrance's voice shouting "Apricot!!!" from above, and turning his head upwards both he and Terrance was now looking straight at each other.
Terrance was then about to give an early warning that he would be jumping before having the Naga just about to grab him, and forcing him to jump immediately instead. (With the monster diving down right after him!)
All Apricot could be hearing at that point was the screams of Terrance and the roar of the Naga both coming down towards him, and just by judging the distance in their voices he knew just what to do.
Counting in the right moment Apricot made a spring leap into the air as he bent his head downwards, so that Terrance could softly land slide onto the back of his head, before then zigzagging between the spikes on his back, and then finally riding down at his tail and safely hit the ground.
Once Apricot felt that Terrance had been landing on his neck softly the white Demon then quickly lifted his head up towards the falling Naga, before then opening up his jaws as widely as he could!
Before the Naga had a chance to realise what was going on both it's head and arms had found themselves all the way past the Demon's throat and in his chest area!
With it's arms being pinned by the sides inside of the thick throat the previously so terrifying Naga had no been reduced to a very long Snake flavoured noodle, as it was now fully at the mercy of Apricot. (And right now he was HUNGRY!)
As he got back onto his feet Terrance turned around to see if Apricot was able to handle the dangerous Naga, only to then get dumbfounded by seeing how the big white furry beast was sitting on his rear and in the middle of swallowing up the whole Snake whole!
With each swallow more and more of the big and thick Naga was disappearing down the mouth of Apricot, and filling up nicely into his every growing belly!
Apricot was a very big creature, but actually devouring something about the same size of himself didn't only look insane, but also almost impossible without the risk of his belly bursting from having so much cramped inside!
Still the big white Demon didn't stop swallowing down bit after bit of the Naga until he came to the tail, were he seemed to be reaching his breaking point as he slammed his jaws shut violently, causing the tip of the tail to be cut off as he did one last swallow and had (almost) all of the Naga inside of him!
Laying onto his side Apricot's now super stuffed belly was currently shaking and struggling a lot as Terrance walked up and carefully asked "How are you doing Apricot?", to which the big guy said "Not hungry anymore." before then letting out a large burp that caused the movements inside his belly to die down a bit. (The burp ending up letting out most of the air inside his belly.) "Think I will stay free from hunger in a good couple of months now."
Once he felt that the big Naga finally stopped fighting back Apricot could start relaxing a bit more as he rolled over the bitten off the tail tip to Terrance, who looked a bit confused and asked "You want me to...eat it?"
"Why do you think I bite it off? You also need something to eat after several days without food." Apricot said as he ensured the little guy that, "I bet you will like it. Tasted a lot like fish actually."
While eating a slimy piece of Snake tail that was about the size of a 20 pound fish didn't seem very appetising, it was still the one real piece of food he had been given.
So joining in on his big friend's example Terrance decided to get it over with very quickly by stuffing it deep into his throat, and then have it enter his stomach in one piece! (If only to avoid having to feel the taste of snake for any longer then he had to.)
It left him with a very bloated belly of his own, and just like with Apricot he did now feel that he too would be able to avoid being hungry for at least a couple of days.
That battle of life and death had indeed been a true settlement to how much Terrance in fact cared about his company of Apricot, but just a few days later it was the big blind white Demon's turn at showing his care for his friend as the two of them had ended up on yet another wrong turn.
Deciding to try a short cut over a small mountain chain a sudden snowstorm had the two taken by surprise, as Terrance couldn't even make out his hand in front of his face in the massive field of snow being tossed in front of his face.
With no idea on where to go while having this snow storm going on the duo decided to try and set up a resting place by the closest mountain they could find, and then like before having Apricot's big thick fur to work as a way to keep the much more "thin furred" Terrance warm.
But this time the cold weather proved to be a lot harsher then anything he had ever experienced before, as no matter how much he tried burring himself into the fur of his friend Terrance was still freezing really badly!
Feeling how his tiny friend was shaking like a leaf right next to him Apricot felt sad over how much Terrance was suffering, and pretty quickly came up with an idea for just how to help him.
Lowering his head close to him Apricot said that he could "Take you to a place that is really warm." to Terrance, who at first simply asked "W-Where w-would that b-be?" to which Apricot open up his mouth wide and said, "In here!"
Feeling just the warm air from his breathing getting all over him did help Terrance stop shivering for the moment as he then unsurely asked, "But isn't your insides still filled with tons of Naga bits?"
"Not really." Apricot answered before then explaining that his species could digest their meals very quickly, and that "Most of my big gut now is just the fat that the Naga helped turning itself into for me." before then rubbing one of his clawed paws across it to show just how soft and shaky it was.
This made Terrance a lot more concerned about something else as he then asked, "But wouldn't that meant that I too would get digested very quickly if I was to enter in there?", to which Apricot laughed a bit before then saying, "Not at all! I forgot to mention that I have a talent for having my stomach do nothing when I want it to. (Mostly so that I wont digest stuff while I sleep, and can later have it to keep me from getting hungry at day.)"
"So what do you say? Do you trust me?" Apricot asked as he was laying out his big tongue almost like a red carpet for Terrance to walk into his mouth on, and it really was putting a lot of pressure on the little guy.
Finally he said to himself that he had not been thinking about the risks when he had been saving Apricot's life when he fought that Naga, so why shouldn't he trust in his words that he would stay safe in there?
Putting his trust in his friend firstly Terrance made his first confident step onto Apricot's tongue, before then getting slurped up and swallowed down by the huge Demon.
Entering into the stomach he found out that his friend had been right, as there was barley any remains of that massive Naga left inside and he had this big comfy stomach sack all to himself.
Laying down against the soft fleshy walls Terrance had to admit that this was the most relaxed he had ever been starting to feel before going to sleep, as he could barley keep his eyes open for it.
Feeling the entire place rocking from side to side naturally was putting him to sleep a lot quicker then he thought it would, as Terrance let out a "Good Night Apricot." before then falling asleep inside of the belly.
Outside Apricot could just feel how the movements from the small Raccoon had gone still, and when feeling just tiny kicks against his very well thicked flab the albino Demon smiled and said "Good Night Terrance." before then he himself also decided to try and sleep away the night on the mountain.
