The idea was drawn heavily from an old Calvin & Hobbes gag that had the blonde boy trying to sell various things in a stand one of the most memorable for me was the swift kick stand.

And that really was the only suitable thing I could think of for Daffodil to say, but what do you expect from a species that considers a kick in the crotch to be a "sharp retort". Now pay her that 25p before she bites your ear off.
Daffodil is something of a gag character at this time though who knows she could become something more. A Mankey who dyes her fur, because white is f***ing boring! Her mother is an Aipom and father is a Primeape, Dilly has 5 older sibling all but one of which take after her father, and their home life is very competitive.
If anyone thinks they can do a better caption I'd be happy to offer a version with a blank bubble.
