I'll admit. When I imagined this creature, saw it as having a mostly flat top with most of the features coming from what it dredged up from the deep and whatever washed up on the shores. Flowers from seeds in bird droppings. Crabs being scooped up by shovel like tendrils. Ocean litter lining the edge.
But, I'll admit. This more fantastical design is really cool.
