At first glance he appears to have a thin and gangly frame. But in actuality John’s well-built with a medium frame and is in top physical condition. His hair is styled short and well kept. Black wings cover his back, keeps them folded up when not in use.

The Asclepius Amulet-The source of the Physician’s powers.

Tendrils-The Physicians arms become three taloned hands made of strands of biomass or hardened tendons that can ensnare enemies as well as stretch long distances as well as pick up cars and military vehicles as large as tanks.

Blade- The Physician’s hands turn into the head of a black serpent with a gold and black crown of spikes around its head with blade protruding from its mouth. A powerful and deadly cutting and thrusting weapon, perfect for slicing and swiping.

Arm Shields- The shields can either be smooth or spiky they can either absorb attacks or deflect attacks directly in front of him except for anything greater than a handheld rocket or missiles.

Muscle Mass Armor- Increases the Physician’s strength to lift 60 tons and increase his durability.

Stillas-A little sentient blob like servant created by Physicians for either espionage or company. Can only create one at a time and they don’t need to eat, sleep or rest in any way. They can become imperceptible, stick to any surface, grow tentacle like appendages and allow the Physician to see and hear what they do.

Bakteria Blaster- The blaster looks like a black lion with a golden mane with a canon coming out of its mouth. Shoots out raw Vitalis Essence at enemies. The intensity of the canon is controlled by Asclepius and Apollo and the Physician must have both of their approval to use it. Used against supernatural or apocalyptic threats.


Outfits:
Normal Appearance- Wears business attire such as suits, ties, dress shoes, watches, doctor’s, coat, etc.

Hero Appearance- He wears a black neo sophisticated trench coat with a black shoulder cape with at the center of his collar is a medallion with the Staff of Asclepius. He wears a white plague doctors mask with black eye shields, along with the traditional hat and hood. On his hands, he wears black leather gloves, with silver Star of Life on each glove.

Muscle-Mass Armor- The Physician is covered in armor made of biomass and hardened sinew pulsating with golden Vitalis Essence, his face is covered by a golden mask of a fierce lion with a long biomass mane and black eyeshields. He becomes more muscular and becomes three inches taller.


Strengths:
The Physician’s savant syndrome, gives him extensive knowledge of surgery application/procedure, medical intuition, modern and traditional medicine, along with intricate knowledge of the furman body and its functions.

Obtained botanical intuition from his training.

Can redirect the powers of those that use life energy based powers against its user.

The Physician is able to create one non-powered perfect doppelgänger to take his place as John when needed.

The Physician is able to receive omens that show glimpses of the future, along with accurate gut instincts.

Despite his autism the Physician has very good leadership and critical thinking skills, especially when the lives of innocents and patients are on the line.

The Physician is able to resuscitate a furson within four hours of their “death”, twenty seconds if it’s a serious head injury.

Continuous attacks that out-speed the regeneration rate may exhaust, and potentially kill, the Physician.

Both the biomass blade and tendrils must be infused with the Vitalis Essence to pierce, cut or penetrate tanks and armored vehicles.

Muscle Mass Armor can only be maintained for a short period of time, long periods of use will cause damage to the Physician’s body.

The Physician is not able to fully heal a furson when their body has gone through severe trauma and/or is in a fragile stated until they stabilize, though he can apply ‘first aid’.

The Physician is unable to heal someone unless he knows exactly what is wrong with them and has a working knowledge of their body and anatomy.

The Physician powers depends on his natural skills as a doctor and surgeon. If his powers become a crutch they become ineffective.

Fursons must be within the Physician’s direct vicinity to be healed by him.

The Physician cannot heal or resuscitate a furson that is too far gone to heal or has the aura of death around them.

The Physician's healing and inducement abilities have no effect on those with inorganic, elemental, incorporeal or unknown physiology.

Resuscitation causes the pain, physical and mental, to be transferred to the Physician and can cause mental overload.


Bio:

Ever since John was a little boy, he always wanted to be a surgeon like his father. While other kids were playing video games, he was reading medical books and studying biology models. All the fields of surgery fascinated him; there was not a single stuffed animal in his room that had not been operated on. However, this caused him to be the outcast amongst his peers, they were either weirded out by his interest and strange mannerisms caused by his Asperger’s syndrome or they resented him because of his well to do background and intellect. It was hard for John to connect socially until he eventually just closed himself off from other people, that is, until his last year of middle school and the arrival of a new transfer student.

A panda by the name of Meixiu Zhang moved into John’s neighborhood and was enrolled in his school and instead of being repulsed by John, found him interesting instead. She saw right through John’s defenses and saw a boy who just wanted a real friend willing to understand him and John also wanted to be that friend. From then on, those two became inseparable and John started to come out of his shell and actively study his passion in medicine. In their final year of highschool their friendship bloomed into love, however, they were accepted into different colleges and the relationship would be long distance, but both were determined to make it work.

There were times when their relationship was pushed to the breaking point especially when John began his surgeon residency and Meixiu started her training as a nurse. But, their love survived and upon graduation they finally able to be together. They both began work at John’s father's practice, John soon became known as the ‘miracle surgeon’ a prodigy of his time but he always kept his skills polished and Meixiu kept him humble. For John life couldn’t be more right, but tragedy would soon strike. After three years of dating he’d finally worked up the nerve to ask Meixiu to marry him, he’d gotten the blessing of her parents and picked out the diamond ring. On the day that he was to propose to her Meixiu was in a horrible car accident caused by a drunk driver on her way to to the clinic.

Meixiu was in terrible shape, it was so bad that John’s father took a risk and broke the oldest rule of the doctor code, never allow loved ones to work on one another. He permitted John to operate on Meixiu to save her life, even though John did everything right the damage was too extensive, until finally she flatlined. After having to bury the love of his life John became cold and distant, most people drink or do drugs, but for John work became his drug, his life became nothing but work and some days the only thing that kept him together were the anti-depressants. Everything changed when an old donkey was rushed into the hospital, nobody knew a thing about him just that he was poor guy people saw a few times, he just suddenly collapsed onto the street and started to spasm out.

It didn’t take John long to realize that the donkey was dying and that no amount of surgery or medication was going to save him, however, he felt compelled to visit him on his deathbed. As he entered into the mule’s room heard the him muttering in greek saying what roughly translated into ‘I found him, at last’. When the mule noticed him he beckoned John forward, then grabbing his hand in a vice like grip he put a silver/platinum coin into his John’s hands and then without another word, died. John didn’t understand why he kept that old coin but he felt that it...belonged to him now.

The next day as he got ready for work, listening to the classical music radio station like always, there was a power surge and the station changed and played a song that he and Meixiu used to dance to, it was then that something in John snapped, he just couldn’t take it anymore and in a blind fury threw the radio against the wall, smashing it into a thousand pieces. After that, John went on a rampage throughout the house smashing anything he could get his hands on until he was spent and fell into a crying heap. As John bawled his eyes out he noticed that the coin was laying in front of him and it was glowing, against all his good judgement John took the coin and glowing portal opened before him. Before he could even blink huge tentacles of water reached out of the portal and wrapped themselves around John and dragged the struggling crow into its watery depths before closing behind him.

John was surrounded by water, drowning pulled deeper into the depths by a being dressed in gray telling him to swim down and the scary part was...John wanted to listen to it, however, as he was about to succumb he thought of Meixiu and that gave him the strength to swim up. As his head broke the water he swam up to shore when he finally got his bearing he realized he was on some kind of island where he was greeted by snake who couldn’t have been more than six years old, the child told him to follow and ran off. With a sigh John followed the child until he came to a cave when he entered he saw the child who told him that there was way to bring Meixiu back from the dead all he needed to do was pick someone to die in her place and it could be anyone even evil people the world could live without. As tempted as John was he knew that Meixiu would never forgive him for destroying someone's life for hers.

When John refused the child looked ready to throw a tantrum but calmed down and gave John another offer, to seek revenge against the one responsible for Meixiu’s death by causing that person to be afflicted by a disease created from John’s pain. As tempted as John was he couldn’t do through with it and refused. The child in a rage transformed into giant serpent and made ready to attack John when a lion roar echoed throughout the cavern as the serpent screamed in rage there was a flash of light and John stood in a temple. In its center stood a throne with a Asklepion snake dressed in an ancient toga, holding a staff with a snake encircled around it.

Before John could make a break for it the immortal told him not to be afraid and introduced himself as Asclepius the Greek god of physicians. Asclepius explained to John that he had been brought to the ancient city of Epidaurus because John had been chosen to be his new champion. John demanded to know why he was chosen out of all the people in world, Asclepius explained that only a doctor who had did everything in their power to save someone they loved and failed could be his champion because they understand the value of life and Galenus had picked him as his successor.

Asclepius opened his right fist to reveal John’s coin. John didn’t want the power being offered to him and would have refused if Asclepius hadn’t told him the reward for accepting the power...his Elixir of Life. John was familiar with this elixir from stories told him from his youth, here was a chance to bring his true love back to the land of the living and so he agreed. The coin floated from Asclepius's hand and shot into John’s chest merging with him until they were one, the pain was so intense that John passed out.

When he came to, he thought it was a dream, until he found himself by Meixiu’s grave with the elixir sitting next to him and a throbbing pain in his chest. John picked up the elixir and unplugged the cork however as he was about to pour its contents on the grave. A spectral hand stopped him, and he looked up and saw Meixiu. She helped him to his feet and told him to let her go that he would need the elixir one day and that she wanted him to move on with his life and let her go. With a final kiss she vanished into the afterlife.

John wept at that grave and finally released his pain and swore that he would become a force for good and serve the world and the people who lived in it as the Physician. He then moved to Colmaton and opened his own practice the Meixiu healing clinic and began his career as a hero.

Personality:
John is a very kind, compassionate, open minded and principled person he is not afraid to fight for the little guy, work for free or stand up for what he believes even if it could cost him.

Although cautious and meticulous he is not afraid to take risk when someone’s life depends on it. He can connect and reach people on a level that is considered messianic.

Pities hardened criminals and villains, but he sees them as a disease and won’t completely heal them if they are in trouble. He’ll do enough to keep them alive and stable but he’ll leave the rest to regular doctors and surgeons.


John is also introverted and socially awkward, while not innately suspicious he has a hard time with trusting others to have his back or share his burdens.

While a pacifist at heart, there is a darkness within John created by his Physician training, chronic depression, samaritan/chronic hero syndrome and the death of his fiance that gives him the capacity to kill if need be.
