You saw the unfinished sketch number 2?
That is the version i loaded up befor i continued to sketch...and after 2 hours i loaded up the finished version...i still can not believe i finished it in 2 hours when the first half of the dragon had cost me more than double the time.
Somehow it is really easy to draw in this style because..well..it just flows out of my hand.
It is like a puzzle and i have not to worry because in the end it will fit somehow.
Worrying is a bad habit...worry too much and it will ruin what you do.
When i was 15 i did such things a lot...goldfish, ram, wolf, dragon and some sort of gazelle but do not ask me where i lost all this

Yeah...looks tribal.
I started sketching this way after i was introduced to the way how aborigines paint their spirits and the animals...and also in ancient china it looked similiar.

The aborigines painted the life lines, chakra energy and inner organs to give the picture more power...and also the spirit that was present.
that was also common in ancient china and i think the way deamons, gods and spirits are painted in japan is a progression from this ancient style.
I planned nothing, i have some more sketches. But i think that is nothing that will be done in the near future.
That does not mean i will not upload something, maybe something will hit me straight in the face and i have to do it like with the dragon..who knows.
Maybe you have an idea or a wish?
