even if they were twins the DNA could still come back different from one of them I don't think she said they were Identical twins or Fraternal. Fraternal twins do NOT have the same DNA coding. That being said Fraternal twins CAN come out looking identical it takes a DNA test to tell if they are identical or fraternal at that point. It's more rare than actual Identical twins but it's happened

Even if the DNA is slightly different they would still be biologically connected even if he was just a brother and not any kind of twin anyway, he'd be her uncle. So what the mom is saying here could still be true if he is not the father, even if you disregard the twin aspect.

Its the biological connection of direct descendants that she means and probably more than just the science of dna but the spiritual shared lifeforce as such. Which is why Nicole is out of the loop of influence

Basically, as an NPC explains it, when Boss Monsters (a specific species of monster) have a child, part of their SOUL's power flows into that child. As a result, as the child grows the parents simultaneously age, and if they were to lose the child they would stop aging (meaning that until they have another - IF they ever do - they're effectively immortal).

Besides, the artist explained that it was a more spiritual connection rather than DNA. Also Directly linked. It can't be vicariously. So if Gem wasn't already his child (that his and her mother's soul created), he wouldn't be able to connect with her. Gem can connect with her brothers becasue (all three) have the same spiritual parts from both parents. Jack has no spiritual familiarity with their mother.
