Well, you kind of need both. Fire by itself isn't gonna do much, and a slashing weapon by itself will just make things worse! (unless you intend to have the heads that didn't get a meal try and bite the ones that did off :D )

Nah, fire expedites the process. Take off a head, put some fire on it. And yeah, gotta be quick with them slashes! Also, you can smash it's body up and it'll be just the same =P

You still needed a slashing weapon, unless you got somethin' like that lyin' around.

Even then, there were three others! You coulda saved them, at least cx

I always bring one of every weapon type just for such an emergency! How was I to know that the local fire slinger was a hard-core voraphile!? And stupid longer-than-expected-necks catching me in the air.
