We Speak Out
We speak out against your actions, not because we hate you, but because we care about them.
Never let people tell you to stop speaking up for the ones who can't speak for themselves.
Sometimes it's exhausting, we feel like a broken record, but we are making a difference. We ARE being heard, we ARE making waves, we ARE helping, and we will not stop.

start working with USA
while iam not a vegan USA is such a nightmare to look at when it comes to the treatment of animals (and everything else for that matter)
convince them and you can convince anyone
they are also the biggest pollution concern with the entire food industry put together so there is that too
it also gives less food than to grow cornfields
i just gave you some ammo not based on choices enjoy

As much as this post makes sense i could really careless from either side I do what I do and ignore everyone else. Because from the last time I checked my mother gave birth to me and is currently dead and my father is never around so unless your one of those 2 individuals you don't run my life and I'll do as I see fit.
I've always been that way I never let anyone change who I am because well Im gonna be me and if people think they can just dump their bullshit onto me then they better expect a repercussion instead of a change.

I find it funny how she's talking about speaking out for what you believe in and to not stop trying because there's always people putting them down and being rude, but here you are pretty much living proof to what she's talking about.
All i did was speak out in what I believed in and here you come rushing in already judging and making a rude comment against me. Good job bro your really gonna make a fuckin difference with that attitude. 👏👏👏

A noble cause, and you express a valid and meaningful reason for your campaign.
But unless you want to force veganism, you have to accept that it is a personal choice.
None of us get to choose when our life begins or ends, all we can do is strive to the best life between those times, for every animal.
I work for better animal welfare.

I'm with you on this. On top of that, you can't really be a Vegan until well after you've turned 21. The reason for this is because that's when the body basically stops growing, and the metabolism starts to slow down. Also, women who are pregnant *can not* go with a Vegan diet. It will stunt the growth of the child (low birth weight), and more importantly, it could result in a higher chance of miscarriage.
The issue is, humans are omnivores. We evolved the way we did because of our ability to hunt and gather our food. We developed culturally because of our ability to add growing our food to that list. Now the one thing that can be done, is to assist the research of synthetic meat development. This will reduce the need for live animals in farming beyond milk, wool, and other non-lethal uses. Beyond that, the only meat coming from live animals will come from wild game (Deer, Duck, Moose, etc), or from private farming.
For those wondering what Synthetic meat is, it is meat that is grown in a petri dish perse, vs being harvested from an animal. It can be made to fit any taste, and will be necessary for human space travel beyond our own planet.

That's actually quite false, it's been proven that a vegan diet is acceptable and healthy for all ages and stages of development. Just don't try to feed your baby plain almond milk without some kind of supplement, milk was made for babies after all, and humans can make it. There are also plenty of vegan formulas out there now.
We don't need meat to survive and live happy and healthy lives at all, typically healthier lives than those do eat animals and animal secretions.

To me, the key is education, kids need to learn how the stuff on their plate gets there, they need to see the whole process from field to fork.
Many people, when faced with what is done in their name, will turn Vegan, others, will be more careful in how they source their food, to ensure that only the best animal wellfare is worth while.
We don't need meat to survive, we don't need vegetables to survive, But it incumbent on us all to make informed choices.

Not I. I've seen a deer shot, gutted, cut up, placed in a cooler for a week, cut up some more, seared to perfection, and put on my plate. I've seen the footage of slaughter houses, and it doesn't bother me at all. Sorry to say it, but it's that industrialization of the food that's allowed First World Nations to thrive and live long and healthy. I've already said my peace though. You want change, donate towards the research of synthetic. Don't try to make people who enjoy a steak out to be a bad guy, all it does is make us look back and bite in harder.
Well, that not really true! As soon as you're off your mother's tit, you're able to eat a balanced vegan diet. Humans being omnivorous doesn't mean we HAVE to eat everything, it means we can survive on almost anything. Its allowed our species to colonize the entire planet!
Thank you for posting this, I know some people will probably put you down for this piece, but keep it up.
I'm not vegan, but I'm gradually taking steps towards it, fewer products at a time, I think what you're doing is great.
As far as I'm concerned nobody has been yelling at me when explaining veganism to me, and I think it's good to express your views for a cause such as this.
I see nothing wrong with posting this up and just trying to express your feelings on how you feel when people yell at you for it.
I figured you could use some support.

I'm very glad that you're taking steps to a more compassionate lifestyle, every little bit helps!
Yeah, some vegans are very heated about the subject of killing animals, as they should be, but expressing a negative message to someone who already probably feels guilty isn't the best way to spread a positive message about our cause. I do my best to share honest and factual information, and not make anyone feel inferior for not understanding yet. People will always try to tear us down, but that's usually because they're trying to make themselves feel better about doing something they know deep down is wrong.
Messages and comics like this are actually why I created Tofu, to give a relatable face to the message I'm trying to share. I plan on making more visuals and comics like this in the future. Feel free to note me if you ever have questions about veganism! I'll do my best to answer :)

This. The factory farms are the worst and it's sad.
I do try my best to get my meat from farms or something better, to know the animal had a life of happiness and even had a chance at life.
I personally feel like factory farms will sadly stay up in business due to the high demand of meat. If not for us, for our pets too. There's no telling how many factories are catered to just pet food, with there being hundreds of brands of food.

I feel if PETA where not around or at the least did what they claim to do then it could be heard more.
PETA call out the wrong things and chase the wrong cause at the same time.
Pokemon got called out for no reason and upon made PETA a laughing stock.
I am not vegan and most likely never will be , but things like this are okay.
You are not going out to attack people nor call out games .
I can see you're struggle allot and understand that most things are never easy.
It can be hard for people to understand due to where again things like PETA have pretty much become known and again for the wrong things.
I say don't stop fighting for what you believe.
If you're a vegan ? so what.
that's the life you have chosen and no one should tell you what you can and cannot do.
If you do things right as well for what you believe as well ? carry on.
I do not know how this post is seen as ''forcing'' compare that to PETA and then come back to me.

Poor Tofu. ;m; He just wants people to not hurt animals. It honestly makes me feel really sad, almost ill to eat meat anymore. I'm trying to cut down to the point where I don't buy any meat products. I'm drinking almond and coconut milk which is delicious~! I just wish the animals had better living conditions and life. They need to standardize the most painless and stress-less way to slaughter them instead of the horrible struggle they go through. it's heart wrenching. (Also should this be marked mature due to blood? I don't want you to get reported over it.)
Omg ;-; Im not afraid to say that this image made me cry a bit.....there's a lot of emotion in this image *hugs* :( I dont eat meat, i hope to make the change to become vegan very soon. I relate to tofu here....dont ever give up speaking for those who dont have voices to speak for themselves <3
I applaud those who choose to go vegan/vegetarian! No matter what, you are standing up for what you believe in, be in the treatment of livestock or just a diet change.
I think the reason most people dislike (Even almost detest vegans) might due to almost everything is pretty much a big ol giant guilt trip. And of course, people don't like being blamed or pointed fingers at. Even positive 'Go Vegan' stances are still pretty guilt tripping.
It's not everyone's fault. Some people really can't afford to go vegan. Where I'm located, I can buy enough chicken thighs to feed myself for a whole week for about $10, and then a bit extra for side dishes. Meanwhile, trying to eat a small salad while ignoring the whisper to gorge myself because it's not filling and I'm still hungry is hard. Almond/coconut milk is $3 for pretty much a half gallon, meanwhile whole milk is $3 for a whole gallon. It's not always people don't care, I just really can't afford it.
Enough with the excuses though. I would love to get factories shut down, but I am greatly supportive of farmers who actually treat their animals with care. Remember, domestic livestock have been altered in history. They pretty much need us to survive. Now this doesn't excuse us from using their meat, but it can help by giving thanks. Thank you for providing us, in return we will give you the most peaceful lives we can until it's time.
Also, something I hope doesn't sound too horrible, but here is a thing. If we go vegan, animals are still going to be slaughtered (in a more humane way, I honestly hope). This isn't to sound snarky at all, just a reminder that pets are right behind us in high population. Dogs, cats, ferrets and most reptiles in the pet trade have to eat meat. (Dogs are said to be able to be vegan but I really feel this isn't a choice to them really). So personally, I support more of a humane treatment of animals.
I apologize that all of this sounds 'anti-vegan' but I am supportive of those who are vegan. I can see it visibly hurts people to see the world go this way and I am sorry you guys have to go through that.
Hopefully we all can come up with a compromise and work together on something.
