Lots of guys 'been trying to steal my treasure

They come into my cave and pick a fight

I remember this guy

He was a knight

He waved his sword to show his might



and then I ate his face!

not a trace

of that guy on my mind

I shoot rays

I'm a beholder, I am a giant - floating eye



rogues tried sneaking past me through the shadows

not aware that I see in the dark

Wizards tried their magic

all to no avail

I listened to the clerics

and their prayers



and then turned them to stone

for my evil might (for making you blind)

look at me
